Resistor Color Codes Logo

If your resistor has four bands, the first two are numbers, the third one is the multiplier, and the fourth one is the tolerance, and if your resistor has five bands, the first three are numbers, the fourth one is the multiplier, and the fifth one is tolerance. If there is no band for tolerance, the tolerance is   ± 20% of the resistor value. When you are trying to find the value of the reisistor, take the number you get, and multiply it by the multiplier, and that will give you the resistor value in ohms.
